Anthony J. "Chick" Ricciardelli, of Melrose, formerly of East Boston, died in Melrose on Feb. 8, 2012 at the age of 77. Tony was born & raised in East Boston and a graduate of East Boston High School, Class of 1952. He worked as a Manager for Ronco Machine in Middleton for almost 20 years. Chick resided in East Boston until 1969 and then Melrose for the past 43 years. Tony enjoyed working in his yard, setting up model trains around the holidays and hosting big family cookouts. His family was the most important thing in his life. He was the beloved husband of Alma F. (Trottier) Ricciardelli for 55 years. The Loving father of Anthony Ricciardelli & his wife Ann of North Carolina and Joanne Cannarozzo of Reading. He was the Cherished grandfather of Lauren, Juliana, Rachel, Elise, Carmen and Gina. Caring brother of Marguerite Belgiorno & her husband Al of Revere, Albert Ricciardelli & his late wife Ruth of California, Robert Ricciardelli & his wife Alice of Melrose, the late Angelo Ricciardelli & his late wife Camille, the late Joseph Ricciardelli & his late wife Edith and the late Alfred Ricciardelli & his late wife Marie. Lifelong friend of Charlie & Margaret Scimone of Melrose. Former father in law of Thomas Cannarozzo of Middleton. Loving cousin, uncle and friend to many others. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Sunday, Feb. 12th at 4PM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 12-4PM. Burial will be private.
