Paul Oxley passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Monday, December 26, 2011. He was 60 years of age. Paul was born in Malden, on July 12, 1951, was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1969. Paul has been a lifelong resident of Melrose. Mr. Oxley worked as a truck driver for the Servomation Company Inc. in Stoneham for many years; he loved camping, the outdoors and his yearly trip to the Kancamagus River in New Hampshire. Paul was the son of the late Joseph and Jeanette Oxley and stepson of the late Betty Oxley. Brother of Pam Hogan Rose of Melrose, Steven Oxley of Saugus, Donna Penta of Melrose, Bob Oxley of VA and the late Sharon Chaplin. Nephew of Richard & Kay Oxley of Saugus. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan St. Melrose, on Wednesday, January 4th at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
